I used to hold my belief in being an Eagles fan close to my football craving heart. I would close the world out for the games duration, and the team I love play. My mind and competitive drive was focused on my television every football Sunday. I yelled and cheered my team on for four years and I would see them more than likely, win. The Eagles weren't like the Broncos who would lose every year in the wild card, they could actually win enough games during the regular season to not have to worry about that. The seasons never quite ended how I hoped and thought it would, we could never get past the NFC playoffs. This all took a turn for the better when the Eagles traded some guys for the great Terrel Owens. He was such a great receiver that had the quickness of a bullet and the agility of a cheetah. This time I was thinking my team was finally ready for the magazine cover, jersey selling fame and of coarse a free trip to Disney World, I was beyond excited. The Eagles had overcame all the doubt and made it to the playoffs with ease. One question clouding my judgement was, could they really go to the Super Bowl? To my surprise the Eagles made it after four long hard fought years and could even be the new champions at this long waited game. My hopes were let down and finished as was the Eagles season. I lost my fan card the night I watched that game, the Eagles haven't crossed my mind since....
